For sale is a Modular Sleep System containing all 4 original pieces. The Military Sleeping System IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION. I know that all of the pieces were stored separately and have been handled in storage. There are NO holes, rips, tears or odd smells, no oil, grease or anything indicating it has been abused. Zippers function properly as do all snaps. You won’t be disappointed. This is an awesome set up. I have several available so willing to deal on multiple systems. They are all in identical condition. Here’s what you get : (1) One Green {light weight} Patrol Sleeping Bag, (1) One Black {Intermediate} Patrol Sleeping Bag, (1) One Woodland Camoflauge Waterproof GORTEX Bivy Cover, (1) One Black Compression Stuff Sack. All are US Army issue items. The MSS sleeping bags and other components are constructed to be used in conjunction with each other, or separately to complete an interoperable system known as the extreme cold weather sleeping bag. The MSS is designed to provide comfort in temperatures ranging form 50°F to -30°F when wearing various layers of this extreme cold weather system. Made with rip stop fabric. The Water proof Bivy Cover is produced utilizing waterproof, moisture-vapor-permeable material (GORETEX) with all seams heat sealed. The Compression Stuff Sack is constructed with water resistant materials with adequate volume for both bags as well as the bivy cover. This unique sack compresses the system to one cubit foot. (Black, Green, and Bivy cover) all say Tennier Industries Inc. NSN 6465 01 445 6274 and weighs around 10 pounds.
