US Military 4 Piece Modular Sleeping Bag Sleep System w/GORTEX Bivy – EXCELLENT! I have 10 of these available. Other auctions contain Brand New versions of this item as well, if you want a brand new one with tags please see my other auctions! These bags show little to no use. All Zippers work perfectly, all snaps and buttons work as well. May show signs of extended bulk storage to include scuffed/dirt on compression sack (some compressions sacks have dirt marks on the bottom of the sack as well). No holes, tears, or snags. Stuff Sack buckles may be scratched/scuffed from extended bulk storage. May contain unit or soldier identification on compression sacks. Genuine military surplus that would be considered new if not for the minor markings on compressions sacks. Made in the USA. 6 or 9 Strap Compression Stuff Sack. Patrol Bag: Rated for temperatures 50 to 30. Reversible double-pull (opens end to end) slider allows top or bottom ventilation. Non-locking slide fastener self repairs if jammed or snagged. Draft flap prevents heat loss. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon drawcord and barrel lock. Intermediate Cold Weather Bag: Rated for temperatures 30 to -10. Sewn insulation does not migrate in the bag. Anatomically designed foot box contains twice the insulation as the bag. Sewn-in, quilted chest collar prevents air drafts up and down through the hood. Bivy Cover: Made of durably waterproof and windproof 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric. When combined with Patrol and ICW bags, the system is rated to climates -20 and to -50 with proper clothing. Approved by all departments and agencies of the Department of Defense. Includes snap fastener and slide fastener. Stuff Sack: Compressible to one cubic foot, six or nine 1 -wide nylon webbing straps adjust by ladder lock buckles. Reinforcement webbing is sewn around the circumference of the bag. Nylon drawcord closure with a barrel lock Measures 19.5-23.5 in length, Just over 10 in diameter. The patrol bag, intermediate cold weather bag and the bivy cover snap together to create a sleep system unrivaled in warmth, weather resistance and portability when carried in the compression stuff sack. With proper ECWCS clothing layers, this system can keep you comfortable in temperatures from 50 to -50! The entire system is under 11 pounds and can be compressed into one cubic foot inside of the stuff sack. The bivy (outer) cover is wind and water resistant and is often used in place of a tent when situations require it. This system is perfect for survival situations, extreme campers and hikers as well as recreational scouting and family camping trips.
