Vintage Western Mountaineering 800 fill Goose Down Sleeping Bag 32deg Long Western Mountaineering said this is an older bag made with Canadian Goose Down which would be about the same as 800 fill power today and rated for about 32deg. It weighs 3 lbs and has at least 16oz of fill. It has been recently washed in Nikwax Down Wash and its came back very fluffy. It still has a slightly musty odor from being stored but to me its not that bad and might be fine after another washing. One of the great things about this bad is that the down can be shifted around the bag to put it where you want it. If its colder out and you have a decent insulated pad you can shake the majority of the down to the top for maximum warmth. If its a warm night you can shake the majority of down to the bottom for a more comfortable bed and lighter warmth. This bag has a draw string closure at the top but does not have a draft collar. I believe its a long version as I’m 6’2 and it still has a little room left. Dimensions: length from the top of the hood: 89″ Length from the chin of the top: 76″ Width at chest: 27″ Width at foot box: 16″ This is a pretty nice bag and if I didn’t have so many I would probably keep it.
