We have had this bag cleaned in accordance with the manufactures recommendations and then have treated the bag with NIKWAX TX. DIRECT Spray-on water proofing. Nikwax, no doubt, is some of the very best there is but I have learned the hard way that there is no such thing as waterproof; like when an unexpected thunder storm dumps your canoe over in the middle of a large lake.
