For insulation, Marmot used treated 650-fill down to keep the Sawtooth light, warm, and water-resistant, so a little dampness won’t lead to a sleepless night. The zipper is backed by an insulated draft tube to prevent cold air from creeping through during those chilly nights, and the seams are oriented towards the ground to help limit heat loss. Stretch tricot baffles maximize the loft of the down for even more comfort, and the hood can be cinched down tightly to help trap heat you’d otherwise lose through your noggin. 650-fill hydrophobic down insulation.
