I bought this in 2015 and have used it about 10 nights out. I’m giving up on the quilt thing and going bag to mummy bags. Also, I sleep cold and even though this bag is rated for 20 degrees, for me it is more like 30-32 degrees. But the extra length doesn’t add much weight and is nice to pull over your head. I will hand wash this weekend so it will be clean when it ships. From the 2015 invoice. Western Mountaineering Highlite 850+ goose down 6’6″ 35 degree left zipper 3.5″ loft. 9 oz fill weight. It still looks brand new and functions flawlessly. It was never abused as I would unpack it when setting up camp, sleep in it (always clothed) and then pack it back up in the morning. It has always been stored at home in the digicam bag allowing for maximum loft maintenance. The bag does not harbor any odors and comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. I baby my gear and hope to pass on some savings to another ultralight backpacker. The scale pic is on a basic kitchen food scale and the approx 18 oz weight includes the bag stuffed into WM stuff sack. My initials are DM and appear on the bag label as a family member had the same exact sleeping bag on backpacking trips. This exceptional bag is the older version of what is now called the Lynx. It was called the Dakota. The bag is regular (fit to 6′) length, right side zipper. Fill is 32 oz, overall weight around 3 pounds 2 oz. The condition is excellent, excellent, excellent. The bag is clean (and has been correctly laundered), no smells, no stains, and has hardly been used (a total of less than 10 days). The shell is Gore Windstopper and is in excellent condition, a pleasant sage color (this is the exact color for the Lynx GTX as shown on WM website–specs are also the same except the Dakota is 2 narrower at the shoulder). This bag is a thing of beauty and impeccable quality. Everything about it is as perfect as it gets. Comes with the original cotton storage sack and nylon stuff sack. Zpacks classic sleeping bag / quilt. This is a very versatile piece of gear in that it has a zipper to allow you to use it as a sleeping bag on really cold nights, and has a small clip at the top which allows you to clip the top closed when using it in quilt mode. This one is rated for 10 degrees (which is no longer offered by Zpacks) and weighs just 24 ounces. Excellent condition and super warm. The picture with the 5 dollar bill shows the excellent loft this bag has. Mountain Equipment Zero 350 Ultralight Down Insulated Sleeping bag. Ultralight 2-3 season Down bag in lovely and clean used condition. Washed and dried last week in a commercial laundrette as per Nikwax instructions – refreshed and ready for its new owner. Standard Length with LH zip. Max user height 200cm. Max width at shoulder 75cm. Weight 789g using my scales. Hood drawcord works fine, two way zip runs smoothly. Shell material is ultralight ripstop Helium 30 nylon fabric and the inner lining is a very soft and comfortable nylon. No snag baffle behind the 3/4 two way zip which can be opened from the bottom for venting on milder nights. Excellent for 2 or early 3-season lightweight backpackers and climbers. ME top quality 700+ Down fill – loft is superb and the footbox is also extremely well filled. There is a drawcorded hood and substantial neck baffle which will cinch down to keep out any draughts. It features the EXL system – It lightly pulls the baffles in snug against the body on the top of the bag for better thermal efficiency. It packs extremely compact. Thank you for looking and reading. Bought this last year and decided to go a different route. Has about 8 nights use and is in excellent condition. Really nice bag, the zipper hardly ever gets stuck and you can use it like a quilt. Stored in a cedar closet. Not sure how accurate my kitchen scale is, should be close.
