Lightweight green Patrol sleeping bag. Thicker black Intermediate Cold Weather sleeping bag. Black Compression Stuff Sack to store and carry the system. When assembling the bags together, the tendency is to put the Patrol bag inside the Intermediate Bag. But the opposite is actually how it’s designed. The Patrol Bag (green) snaps to fit over the Intermediate (black) bag. About the 4 Piece Military Modular Sleep System. Genuine US Military Issue. Made in the USA by Tennier Industries. This Outer Bag is lightweight and ideal for mild to cold weather. When used alone, ideal for temperature ranges from 30° to 50°F. Water-resistant, rip-stop nylon shell with polyester insulation. Dual zipper closure on side – allows the top or bottom to ventilate. Adjustable cinch-cord hood for heat retention. Length: 81″ to 83″. Width at Chest: 35″ to 37″. Width at Foot: 22″ to 34″. Weight: 2.3 lbs. About the Intermediate Sleeping Bag. This Inner Bag is perfect for a colder climate and freezing weather. When used alone, ideal for temperature ranges from 30° to -10°F. Has anatomically designed foot box that contains twice the insulation as the bag for extra warmth. Width at Chest: 34″ to 36″. Width at Foot: 21″ to 23″. Provides protection in inclement or colder weather or just add for extra warmth. Width at Foot: 27″ to 29″. Stows and transports your sleep system. Compressible to one cubic foot. When it comes to condition, please know that each piece will not be exactly the same condition as one another. Therefore, we rate our military surplus in ranges of quality. We inspect every piece and try our best to give honest and accurate ratings to our merchandise. For example, one pouch may have black snaps while another may have foliage green snaps or the shade of OD Green may vary in two pouches. This is not considered to be a deficiency. It’s just how they’re made. New items: For new or unissued military items, some items come to us individually packaged and sometimes in bulk. We do individually inspect to ensure they are in new condition. NOS: Some new items may also be considered NOS which is New Old Stock, meaning that they are in new condition and never issued to a soldier, but that they may not have been manufactured recently. Military items may have been in government storage for an extended period of time. Therefore, some pieces may have dust or dirt. We don’t consider this to negatively impact its condition. If you have any questions on how to wash a specific item, we’ll do our best to answer your questions. Generally, we do not launder our military surplus items before sale.
