Alpkit Skyehigh 900 sleeping bag Standard length left zip I bought this bag to take on an expedition to Everest base camp and was not disappointed. Slept in -15°C with only a t shirt on. Mountain Equipment Helium 800 Ultralight 4-Season Down Insulated Sleeping Bag. Men’s Size Regular. Max user height 185cm. Max width at shoulder 75cm. Bag Weight is 1310g using my scales. A fantastic Ultralight Down bag in very clean used condition inside and out. It has been used during trips this winter to Iceland and Scotland. Approx 12 nights in total. Always used with a silk liner, the inside is immaculate and there are no odours. No fabric holes , rips or tears. Zipper and drawcords work perfectly. There are a couple of minor marks which I have shown and some rubbing on the foot of the bag probably from contact with the tent wall or inside a bivvy bag which was used. None of this spoils the bag at all and with superb loft from the down it is a fantastic lightweight winter backpacking or mountaineering bag. Shell material is ultralight highly breathable Helium 20D nylon fabric and the inner lining is a very soft and comfortable supersoft nylon. The bag interior has a lovely luxurious feel to it. The two way zip is ideal for ventilation on milder nights. Insulation is top quality Down as always used by Mountain Equipment in their down bags. Ethically sourced and traceable using the Down Codex system. There is a drawcorded hood and insulated neck and shoulder baffle which will cinch down to keep out any draughts. Very compact pack size for a substantially insulated bag. See pic with 2L bottle for some indication. Marmot Pocket Gopher Long Sleeping Bag Gore-Tex Shell -5F. I love this bag. If I didnt have others Id never part with it! The collar and hood cinch down comfortably to seal in heat. The Gore-Tex shell is water resistant. This bag was not seam sealed. Thank goodness, because the sealer becomes a crusty mess over time. Marmot knew how to add a bit of pure luxury on the trail with the luscious sapphire blue lining fabric. Its amazingly soft to the touch and very comfy. Youll have a hard time leaving the comfort of this bag in the morning! Please do see the picture of the Gore-Tex patch on the back of the bag. The patch is well done and completely retains full function of the shell. This bag might be a bit of history, but it is also still fully functional and light in the pack.
