Marmot Plasma 15 degree 900 fill goose down sleeping bag, OVERFILLED! This is the long version of the Plasma bag. This bag as delivered from Marmot has 1 lb. Of fill and weighs 2 lb. This bag weighs a total of 6 lb. With a total down fill weight of 4 lb. By comparison, a Western Mountaineering Bison weighs 4 lb. If you like your bags big this one is for you. In excellent condition, it has never been outside! Filled with certified, super-lofty, ultralight, 875-fill-power goose down (the largest down cluster with the lowest trace of feather) for an unsurpassed warmth-to weight ratio. Down is treated to resist moisture to maintain warmth; treated down stays drier 10 times longer, maintains 150% more loft and dries 30% faster than untreated down. Pertex® Quantum nylon ripstop shell is lightweight, durable and silky soft. Shell is treated with a Durable Water Repellent finish that causes moisture to bead up and roll off. Hood drawcord and insulated collar envelop your head and shoulders in warmth; down gasket face muff lets you cinch the hood snug without it digging into your face. Vertical baffles prevent cold spots by keeping the goose down fully lofted and in place. Down-insulated draft tube backs the two-way, full-length zipper to keep the cold out. Wrap-around footbox construction reduces down compression; Flow design with the classic trapezoidal foot box shape lets feet move freely and keeps down lofted for warmth. Zipper guard runs the entire length of the draft tube to prevent fabric from getting caught in zipper. Please see other items I have for sale on my page. This sleeping bag has been very well taken care of. Although it has some blemishes (explained below), it’s functionality is as good as new. I have actually used it in the home as a guest duvet and the quality of the insulation is excellent. 1530g is a good bag for minus temperatures. You will never have a cold night if camping in the UK. The’900′ in the name stands for the 900 grams of down filling inside the bag. If camping in warmer temperatures this is a nice bag because you don’t have to zip everything up tight around your face. It can be used as a lightweight, heat-efficient duvet, with comfort guaranteed. I will put it through a specialised wash with the Nikwax products (see pictures) and carefully tubledried. It has never been stored in compact space. It was attacked by chewing gum one night on the zip (see pictures) and the inside was snagged by something sharp and patched up (see pictures) RAB ASCENT 900 Hydrophobic Down Sleeping Bag. 650 down fill power.
