This is a Big Agnes style bag, where the torso area on the bottom of the bag has a sleeve that holds your air pad. The reason not to have down in the bottom of the bag is that down gets compressed and loses insulation value, so save the weight and sleep on the pad. Your waist to feet are still on down. Insert any 20 wide pad in the sleeve, and use like any normal bag. Or put the pad under the bag – your choice. Has pad straps and and an attached pillow case to hold your pillow or stuffed clothes in place. Note that this bag does not have a hood, but can be cinched around your head like one. Pics show side view of my short Neoair pad in the sleeve my 48, 8.7 ounce pad is NOT included, by the way! According to my logs, I’ve used the Pitchpine 8 nights. Lowest temps I’ve taken it down to is 35 degrees f with just a base layer, and it was warm. At 30 f I was cold, so it appears to me to be conservatively rated. Fill: 10.5 ounces of 800 fill down, water resistant, DownTek treated. Shoulder Girth 67.5″, Hip 64″, Compressed volume 2 liters. Great condition, looks new, just washed in special down-specific Nikiwax brand tech soap, so you don’t have to. Includes sleeping bag, stuff sack, original tags, and storage bag.
