I used this sleeping bag for about 60 nights on the North face of Mt Everest in 1994. The bag performed beautifully. I no longer do any winter climbing or camping so time for this beautiful made-in-the-USA sleeping bag to find a new home. It has a waterproof breathable shell (I believe it is GoreTex but I can’t verify that). The bag has really nice baffles along the zipper and around the neck, and when cinched down will keep you super warm. It shows some delimitation of the waterproof breathable fabric, but I do not believe this should effect the waterproofing (see photos). It shows some discoloration around the head/neck area. I had the bag cleaned before putting it in storage. The bag retains it’s loft as I stored it in the oversized stuff sack (see photo). It is a mummy bag, but has a moderately roomy cut so you can wear extra clothes. There is a lining in the foot well to protect the bag from boots or other items you might put in the bottom of the bag at night. The bag is size Regular, designed for 6′. 6 Spacing/V-Block Side Baffle. 850+ fill power down. 9 Loft, -25° F. Total Weight in stuff sack.
