Mint The North Face 800 Down Sleeping Bag Regular Foxfire Dryloft. May have been used one time. Looks mint new to me. These were reserve stock for TNF Alpine and Himilayan expeditions. These are the bags that you want! They shed water and moisture and are 800 fill. Sleeping in your clothes drys them out, saves time, saves weight, and it is a nightmare to dress and undress in bitterly cold conditions inside a cramped tent. These are conservatively rated to 5 F. Canadian Military Surplus -40 rated winter sleeping bag system. Includes an inner and outer down filled sleeping bag, fleece liner, scarf and compression bag. The “GOOD” condition sets are in good usable condition, but will show the results of years of use in the field, the down is still full and fluffy. Most of the sleeping bags will have been repaired, sewn on the longer tears or Great Gear tape on the very small holes. Zippers will work on the bags, compression bags all have defects or have been repaired, fleece liners all have been sewn (I think they must wear their boots to bed, because almost every fleece liner I get is ripped, so I fix them), scarves will have defects, such as small holes or rough edges. There is nothing worldwide in the market that can compare to these bags. They are the perfect combination of design, materials, practicality, and workmanship. The result is a versatile bag that will keep you warm and comfortable in any weather and environment. The set is a modular system, which means you can use some of the components together or all of the components, or any combination. When all 3 bag parts are used together you will be warm in -40 temperatures. The design is a combination of a mummy bag and a regular width rectangular shaped sleeping bag the result is a bag that is almost as portable as a mummy bag with the roominess of a square bag. The individual component size is listed below. The goose down insulation and the multiple layers of nylon shell material gives the entire set a weight of 12.4 lbs -or- 5.6 kg. Other bag sets on the market may be lighter but they are no way nearly as warm. The goose down also compresses down well, if the included stuff sack / compression bag is used it is possible to get the set down to an approximate 16 long x 12 diameter. Each down bags can be used separately in warmer weather. Stuff sack / compression bag has waterproof lining. Sleeping bag exterior material is not waterproof but liquid will run off easily in case you spill something – can be wiped off.
