Eddie Bauer First Ascent Kara Koram 20deg F sleeping bag – Excellent! This bag has only been used one night indoors (a Forest Service cabin). This bag is extremely light weight at 2.25 lbs and comes with a compression stuff sack (included) but can easily fit in a 10-15 liter syl-nylon bag to save weight (not included). It has been stored uncompressed in the oversize cotton storage bag (included). There is one repaired defect in the bag (see photo). I was careless with a box opener when I received the bag, and I put a 1 inch clean slice on the left side of the bag. No down escaped as I saw it immediately. Rather than try to sew the ultralight fabric, I used a carefully trimmed piece of clear tenacious tape to repair this. The rectangular patch extends well beyond the cut, and the white line that shows is just the tiny edges of down plumes that stuck to the repair tape over the cut. It is a super-secure repair and doesnt have an impact in the usefulness of the bag.
