The Snugpak Softie Elite 1 is a military spec sleeping bag that is suitable for warmer climates. It features the new Snugpak Expanda Panel System (EPS) which allows you to adjust the temperature and comfort inside the bag. This is managed by a jumbo zip baffle that can be expanded to give you more room inside the bag. This has the effect of allowing more air to circulate which keeps you more comfortable and can lower the temperature. If the temperature drops outside or you just want a cosier bag you simple zip up the baffle which keeps you warm and fully protected from the elements. This design effectively gives you 2 bags in 1 as it allows you to use the bag in more situations that you would with a regular sleeping bag. As with all Snugpak sleeping bags, the Softie Elite 1 is made with quality materials specifically chosen to be fit for use. The Outer is Paratex Micro which is a lightweight but tough and durable fabric that is also water resistant and wind-proof. The Inner is Paratex Light – again lightweight and wind-proof but also breathable which allows moisture to be wicked away keeping you dry and comfortable. The filling is a mix of Snugpak’s famous Softie insulation along with Reflectatherm. This combination creates a luxury feeling filling that is again breathable and provides an extra 15% warmth by reflecting the heat back into the bag which helps keep you warm without making the bag noticeably heavier. The Softie 1 when fully compressed packs down to just 22cm by 16cm, making it incredibly small and able to easily fit into backpacks with ease. If you need a bag that is shorter than the standard length of 220cm, you can use supplied clips to reduce the length to 175cm. Snugpak (EPS) Expanda Panel Systemlining. 1 Season Sleeping Bag.
