This is a slightly used (4 nights) Western Mountaineering Hooded Aspen sleeping bag, now called the Sycamore MF. It is rated to 25 degrees F, semi-rectangular shape, right hand zipper, 800 fill power down, microfiber shell, 6’6 long, weighs 2lb 3oz. Western Mountaineering Badger SDL(Super DryLoft), Long length, Left zipper. This sleeping bag is used, but in excellent condition with no defects. It has been professionally cleaned and sanitized. The current model, the Badger GWS uses Gore Windstopper membrane, instead of the Gore DryLoft membrane. Neither is waterproof, but DryLoft is the by far the more water resistant. Don’t let a little claustrophobia keep you from getting into a mummy bag. The Badger Super Long Length is a vast 67in. Wide at the shoulder and 41in. The girth is kept in line with a warm down filled collar that provides a formidable barrier preventing convective heat loss. Its draft tube is stoutly filled and protected from zipper jams by a Dacron stiffener. The hood is cut large and fills around your face without having to be cinched tight. You get the comfort of a large volume bag with a water resistant DryLoft shell while 26 oz. Of 850+ down keeps this bag lofted to 6in. Inside Girth shoulder / hip / foot: 67/58/41. 2 lb 14 oz. Stuff Size: 8 x 17 (14 L). The weight includes the sleeping bag, the stuff sack, the storage sack, and the packaging. I just changed the carton size to 17 x 12 x 9, but to do so I had to stuff the sleeping bag in a brand-new Granite Gear compression sack. I raised the weight of the carton to 6 lbs to accommodate the extra weight of the compression sack. I think you’ll find that it is now significantly lower. Traditional style waxed canvas Swag Bag/ Bivy/ bedroll that can be used with a lightweight inflatable pad or foam (not included). No10 1m chest zip and 4m perimeter zip makes venting easy to ensure a nice comfortable night’s sleep. Upper material is British Millerain Sahara 8 emulsified wax so is non waxy, breathable and comfortable. It’s not fully waterproof but will handle moderate rain (all fully waterproof bivies suffer from condensation). Base is 11oz antique style dry wax canvas that is tough and durable (I’d still recommend something to protect is it from sharp rocks if the area is prone though, this will help to extend its lifespan). Approximately 7′ by 3’6 so good for a person up to around 6’2/190cm. I can make bigger or wider bags if needed. Sale is for bivy bag only, everything else is got illustration only. Can be supplied with cotton covered foam to get the most comfortable camp bed possible, as well as leather carry straps, message for details. Outdoor Vitals Down 15° F Top Quilt. Still in excellent condition. Ive only ever compressed it when I was backpacking. Very lightweight but it has kept me comfortable camping in very cold winter conditions when paired with my NeoAir XTherm. Include are the pad straps, a compression sack, and a mesh storage sack that I bought elsewhere. Im not sure, but I believe it has 800 fill power down.
