Bag has been opened to verify sleeping bag condition, after these were originally manufactured and placed in storage. These ECW -20ºF sub-zero bags are extremely thick and heavy, filled with 80% down. They are quite a bit thicker than the current issue USGI sleep system. Perfect for when you need a rugged, extreme cold mountain sleeping bag. Military issue, made in USA by Tennier / Gillette. Water and wind-resistant cotton/polyester shell. Mummy design with tapered footbox. Heavy-duty zipper with snap storm flap. 84 inches long, with a tapered design measuring 30 inches wide at the top and 14 ichesn at the bottom. Vintage 90′s Andora “Stratos” for REI goose down filled, and nylon cold weather mummy style sleeping bag and stuff sack. EUC – used maybe five times. Down weight: 26 oz. Has small zippered pocket at chest level. Contour hood with drawstrings and cord locks at hood and at neck. Exterior loops for hanging/storing. I did two very small repairs: one where the drawstring had come out of the hood and the other along a seam, where I think a tag was removed. See last two photos.
