These are used in great condition! I inspect all of them for holes or rips and zipper issues. Genuine US Military Issue Modular Sleep System. They are Mummy-Style Sleeping Bags and include the light gray Patrol Bag, dark gray Intermediate Sleeping Bag, ACU Gore-tex Bivy Cover, and gray Compression Stuff Sack. Each bag can be used independently for warmer weather or joined together for colder weather. Use separately as fully functional independent sleeping bags, or combine together for maximum warmth and comfort! When all 3 bags are combined and fastened together, the sleep system is rated to -40°. These were military issued bags marked DRMO and may show minor signs of wear. Weighs approximately 9-10 pounds. All components manufactured in the USA for the US Military. The 4 Piece System is made up of the Following. ACU Camouflaged, Waterproof, durable breathable 3 layer Gore-Tex Bivy Cover; the Bivy Cover can be used with each of three MSS configurations. (Patrol, Intermediate, or Combined) to be compatible with the environment in which the System is being used. The Bivy Cover provides environmental protection from wind and water. Lightweight Patrol Sleeping Bag; cold weather protection from 35° to 50° Fahrenheit, hood adjusts for heat retention. Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag; cold weather protection from minus 5° to 35° Fahrenheit, some would even say down to minus 10° Fahrenheit. Foot area contains twice the insulation as the rest of the bag to keep feet toasty warm. Quilted chest collar prevents air drafts, hood adjusts for heat retention. When used together, the Patrol Bag and Intermediate Bag provide Extreme Cold Weather Protection in temperatures as low as minus 40° Fahrenheit when used with ECWCS. Both sleeping bags are made of water-resistant ripstop nylon fabric and continuous filament polyester insulation. Reversible double pull slider which allows the top or bottom to aerate. Non-locking slide fastener self repairs if jammed or snagged. The hood adjusts for heat retention. Compression Stuff Sack is included to store and carry the system; made with water-resistant, durable nylon fabric. Compressible to one cubic foot. Nylon drawcord closure with a barrel lock.
