This is a really cool find of a vintage Woods Sleeping Bag. Made in NY, not sure when though as it’s not marked. The zipper is YKK. The fill is Grey Duck Down and Grey Duck Feathers. The shell is a standard material for modern sleeping bags seems like. The whole bag in the stuff sack weighs a little over 4 pounds – the bag itself is probably 4 pounds. It measures 72 inches long and 30 inches wide when it’s zipped up. It is not a full mummy bag but it has a drawstring to go around right under your head and keep your body nice and warm. It also has snaps to snap in a blanket for even more warmth. Pretty rare bag here and overall it’s in decent shape.
Lightning System Sleeping Bag: 30/15F Synthetic. Have any questions on an item? Our gearheads can help! Perfect for year-round camping, the Alps Mountaineering Lightning System Sleeping Bag has a removable quilt to accommodate 30F, 15F, and warmer temperatures. We like using the removable quilt by itself in summer’s warmest weather, the bag without the quilt in 30F weather, and combining both together in 15F temps. This is the footer.
