This bag is 84 inches long, 30 inches wide at the top and 14 inches at the bottom and weighs 8lbs. It was issued from the 1970′s into the early 2000′s – Olive Drab Green. Gore Tex®, 100% water/wind proof outer layer. Designed to enclose the extreme cold weather bag with snaps instead of zippers – Woodland Camo. Includes fleece boots and a fleece hood to help protect against the harsh cold temperatures at night – Brown and Olive Drab Green – Nylon coated and water resistant. Six longitudinal nylon web compression straps and a draw cord with toggle on the top. 12 inch diameter round bottom, 28 inches tall before compression, and 19 inches wide when laid flat – Olive Drab Green. Issue Extreme Cold Weather Vintage Sleeping Bag. The US Military Issue Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping Bag was issued starting from the 70′s for about 30 years and is the warmest of its kind with a stated temperature down to -20 degrees. These bags are stuffed full of 80% down and 20% poly that lasts a lifetime. The cover is made of water-repellent heavy duty poplin cotton made very thick and durable. You can see the quality with a brass zipper, offset stitching at the seams and a 3 in storm flap with snaps to seal in warmth. This bag is full size with plenty of room at 84″ long and 30″ wide. The mummy shape allows for more heat retention and the foot and head design gives you plenty of room if you need it. Made in the U. This sleeping bag has never been used and is difficult to find in a sealed bag. Original vintage military issue. Temperatures to -20 degrees. Down and poly fill.
