Regular Coyote Brown – under 5’11. Long Foliage Gray- over 6’0. The USMC Three-Season Sleeping Bag was designed to be a lightweight compatible military sleeping bag for temperatures above 20°F. The Inner Bag comes in two sizes Regular with the inside coloring is Coyote Brown and Long with its inside coloring, Foliage Gray. When combined with the full Marine Corps system of a Bivy cover, sleeping pad (not included) and proper clothing it is rated to use down to 5. The is produced with an anti-microbial liner that helps to protect against the growth of microorganisms, baffle tubing to trap in body heat, and full head closures to keep you warm. This item is Military Surplus and may have size label on wet weather bag, light dust/soil from long-term storage wear however, it will not affect the intended use. This is a genuine USMC improved bivy cover which is part of the US Marine Corps Three Season Sleep System (3S). It is designed to cover the other sleeping bags in the system, making them waterproof and highly insulated. It is 18% lighter and provides improved comfort, protection and volume. It allows a Marine to be totally encapsulated under extreme weather conditions. The material is a microporous laminated membrane with highly water repellant exterior. An integrated flexible wire allows the Bivy to stand off from the face and a bug proof screen windo can be fully or partially opened. In warmer weather, this bivy cover can be used as a rain shelter and features a mesh above the head allowing the user to see out of the bag. The cover is 88 long and can be used with your own sleeping bags – it does not require the other bags in the system. Lot of two identical sleeping bags (except they appear to have zippers on opposote sides if you use it with the logo tags on the top). These are a mustard yellow color which was quite popular in the 1970s. The stuff sacks are orange color. These sleeping bags are Gerry brand, Made in the USA. The tag indicates that they have a nylon shell and lining. They have ripstop nylon. I do not see any listed filler, but it feels like it is not down or feather filled, rather it seems more like a synthetic like polyester. The diamond quilted pattern seems to help keep the filling pretty evenly distributed. These are fairly lightweight sleeping bags, each one weighs approximately 3 and 1/2 pounds in the stuff sack. See the photos for measurements and details. Ask me questions that you may have. Note that the stuff sacks have some marks that are evidence of use. Note that the sleeping bags have working zippers. They have typical signs of use. There may be a slight difference of colors in the bags.

Grade 2: Good to Very Good – Products may have been previously washed and light pilling may be present but they retain 100% of their original functionality. Products have no staining, small tear in bug net not through flap and checked by us. Grade 3: Fair to Serviceable – Due to wear and use products may not be as thick as when originally issued but are still in serviceable condition. Products may have small imperfections but all snags/tears/burns/seams will be less than 1 in size.
