This is an REI Magma Men’s 10-degree (F) sleeping bag, size Long. The weight of the bag with the stuff sack is 2 lbs, 2 oz. REI updated it to the Magma 15, to be slightly less warm and lighter. The difference in the fill weights are 19 oz (Magma 10) and 17.3 oz (Magma 15). It has only been used about five times, and has been stored outside of the stuff sack to limit premature wearing of the down feathers and to retain its fluff. I only tested it down to freezing 32 degrees (F), and I was sweating. The “tested lower limit” is 10 degrees (F), and the “tested comfort” is 22 degrees (F). That should be good for most men. The height is good, but the width around the waist was too tight for comfort for me (there is room, but very little to spare). My waist size is 38. The open dimensions are the same as the current Men’s Magma 15, as far as the shoulder girth, hip girth, and length.
