Everything works as it should. The zippers are good the buttons work everything is intact and there are no holes or stains. Some fade in the olive drab color here and there but not bad. Actually a really good looking bag! It’s just been around a while so don’t expect brand new. Very clean though and doesn’t smell or anything weird. I would camp in it tonight. Really down feather filled mixed with synthetic. Thank you so much!
This sleeping bag is brand new never used. The plastic cover had deteriorated due to age. I unrolled it for the first time to take pictures. It is a little dusty from being stored. Please review all pictures.

The US Military Issue Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping Bag was issued starting from the 70′s for about 30 years and is the warmest of its kind with a stated temperature down to -20 degrees. These bags are stuffed full of 80% down and 20% poly that lasts a lifetime. The cover is made of water-repellent heavy duty poplin cotton made very thick and durable. You can see the quality with a brass zipper, offset stitching at the seams and a 3 in storm flap with snaps to seal in warmth. This bag is full size with plenty of room at 84″ long and 30″ wide. The mummy shape allows for more heat retention and the foot and head design gives you plenty of room if you need it. Made in the U. This sleeping bag has never been used and is difficult to find in a sealed bag. Original vintage military issue. Temperatures to -20 degrees. Down and poly fill. Used, a few shallow wear areas, marks, a few tears along the zipper piping, it it where the solid poly piece is so nothing is coming out and it’s not an issue, we can stitch it if requested… Clean and fresh scent inside… The zipper can be fickle, l half the time it slides without issue half the time a guy has to take it back down and up again, they are a self healing zipper so they fix without a lot of effort… Please see the 23 pics from all angles…
