You are looking at a gently used Marmot Aiguille sleeping bag with gore dry loft membrane for humid or wet camping conditions. It was bought in the mid 90′s and works well. Beautiful teal accents with a stiffening zipper and zipper draft tube. Rated to -5 F. Comes with granite gear compression sack. Washed with nikwax down wash last month. Stored in cotton sack which is included. Please note the sack (not sleeping bag) has two small holes/rips about the size of a quarter and half dollar. Sleeping bag comes from a smoke free pet free home. Bag is awesome for the winter months. No tears or rips on sleeping bag.

It has served me well since I bought it back in the mid 90′s but time to let go. Any hard adventures I engage in these days are off the couch and hardly ever entail an overnight suffer-fest. Hard to capture true color with photos. Beautiful purple bordering on a dark lilac (not grape). Teal accents including stiffened zipper draft tube, and black back side. I washed it last year with Nikwax down wash, loft is still good, but keep in mind this is almost a thirty year old bag so expect some signs of wear. Another cycle with down soap would prob restore more of the original loft. I have always stored this bag in its larger sack so it has not been compressed. Marmot Aiguille DL -5 F 800-Fill Goose Down Sleeping Bag. This bag is regular length, fitting a person up to 6 foot and has a left-side zipper. Want to sleep in a snow cave or worried about condensation soaking your bag when you button your tent up in stormy weather? The Marmot Aiguille DL has a Gore DryLoft shell making the it nearly impervious to snow and rain. The 800-Fill goose down insulation stays dry, keeping you toasty and warm. Cold spot is not a term Marmot’s designers tolerate. You might expect that all this stitching would translate to a straitjacket feel, but that’s not the case. There’s a generous 64 inches of shoulder room and 44 inches at the foot (which is lined with heavier fabric for sleeping with boots or liners on). Since wet downeven 800-fillhas the insulative value of sheet metal, the Aiguille’s shell is a Dryloft laminate to fend off dew and frost. And the weight penalty for all this performance? As new as you will ever find for a used sleeping bag. Every single one of the 20-ish nights I slept in this bag, I used a vapor barrier liner, which prevents all body oils, perspiration, etc from entering the liner and avoids compromising the insulation. Combined with the Gore-tex Dryloft exterior fabric, and this sleeping bag has been very well protected from anything that would compromise its effectiveness. Your experience will vary due to many factors, but I was able to sleep quite comfortably in this bag in temps down to -30F under the Aurora Borealis in Denali National Park without a shelter. It is an amazing winter sleeping bag, but could also work as a nice 3-season bag for anyone who runs cold. The bag is a Long, which I believe Marmot indicates will comfortably fit someone up to 6′ 6 tall. Or it would offer extra space at your feet for a little extra clothing, boot liners, or water bottles. It has been stored either flat fully lofted or in a large cotton sack when it is not in use. It has been an amazing sleeping bag for me, but I simply don’t use it anymore, so I’d rather see it go to someone who will use it for its intended purpose.
