WESTERN MOUNTAINEERING APACHE 850 DOWN 15F SLEEPING BAG LONG LEFT EUC I bought this bag new about 6-7 years ago and used it sparingly. Ive slept comfortably in the bag at temps as low as 10F, but it is rated 15F and up. This bag has a serious draft collar. Western Mountaineering still sells this model and the current model is the same except for color. Im 511 and weigh 180 and I could wear some clothes while in the bag, but it is a trim bag, which makes for better thermal efficiency. I like a long bag because I can put extra clothes in the foot end and keep them warm and dry. This bag will fit a person up to about 6-6. The numbers are: 60/51/38 inches at shoulders/knees/feet Filled with 21 ounces of 850 FP goose down Microfiber waterproof/breathable shell Full length left zipper Weighs 2 pounds, 9 ounces (actual) on my digital scale There are no odors, stains, rips, or worn spots on this bag and the zipper works fine, as it did from day one. Ive got a bunch of sleeping bags, so no individual bag sees a lot of use. I probably used it 10-20 nights. The storage sack is the original. The stuff sack is not the original, but it is one that should work fine and is unused. I never use a stuff sack, and this bag has been stored in a heated upstairs bedroom in the generously sized WM storage sack. The bag has never been near anyones pets. I dont have any pets. You’re viewing a lightly used Western Mountaineering Apache MF 15 degree sleeping bag, 6ft left zip. The bag has about 20 nights of use and has been phenomenal. I’d keep this one if I could afford to. The only blemish on this bag is a pinhole I put in it on my second night of use when doing some gear repair in my tent. A slip of the knife put a little slit in the front of the bag. I field repaired it with a piece of a bandaid, and not a feather was lost. The bag still performs the same, and that bandaid has held tight for many nights after. If you wanted to get fancy I’m sure Western makes a patch kit in a matching color, but I’m confident that the bandaid would continue to hold for years to come. The bag was always stored in the storage sack, and has never been wet. I paid well over 500 dollars for this bag, and anyone who knows western mountaineering quality knows what a good deal this is.
