Enlightened Equipment Enigma 30 Degree Quilt 950fp Downtek. It always took a surprisingly low amount of volume in my pack when I used it & it definitely works great. Id say this is more like a 40° quilt than a 30° quilt but then again enlightened equipment has a reputation for slightly exaggerating their temperature ratings. I have slept in nothing but a full base layer & down hood at 40°f on a thermarest foam pad with comfort. 60° & Im starting to hope theres gonna be a draft of some sort becauseI feel like Im gonna burn up. Regardless, I really loved this thing. It served me well & has many years of life left in it! I always stored this in its original bag when not in use & always babied it. No holes, no patches, no added weight or mishandling whatsoever. This thing is in truly excellent shape! Comes with pictured cotton storage bag, original pad straps, & the quilt itself. Does not come with black stuff sack. But lets be honest, do you really need the stuff sack? That thing takes up such small portion of the bottom of my pack that I dont even really think about it really. The quilt compresses so much smaller than that stuff sack too. Its also not waterproof & adds extra unnecessary weight to your pack (the whole point of this item is to minimize pack weight). The pad straps were used like once or twice & then they just lived their life in the cotton storage bag. Quilt has not been washed; one should also note that washing down reduces its insulation value so theres no need to wash it. The down in this quilt has never seen a drop of water. Like I said, I babied it. If this doesnt sell, its just gonna continue to live in its cotton storage bag until next year. This quilt is essentially brand new. I brought it on one overnight in June in anticipation of a John Muir Trail thru that ended up being cancelled. It was stuffed in my pack, taken out in the tent and not used as it was 65 degrees that night. It was then stuffed back into the stuff sack and taken home. Youll get the bag, the storage sack pictured, the EE stuff sack and the pad straps. Save a few bucks and 5-7 weeks of lead time.
