The US Military Improved ACU Modular Sleep System (MSS) is a sleeping bag system constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from mild weather to extremely cold weather. The system consists of two Mummy-style sleeping bags-the Patrol (Foliage) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey). Each are constructed of water-resistant, ripstop nylon. Each sleeping bag is fully functional independently. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag is compatible with the vapor permeable Bivy cover. When all 3 components are used together the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40°F. Non-flammable and machine washable. RARE GENUINE BELGIAN ARMY ISSUE MULTI LATER CANVAS SLEEPING BAG. Rare GENUINE Belgian Army Issue sleeping bag. Used but in very good condition, no rips, no tears, no stains. These old military sleeping bags were made to last, they are indeed very tough and hard wearing, great for camping, fishing, hiking, music festivals and most outdoor activities. The sleeping bag is olive green and is a modular layer system: button up cotton canvas inner sleeping bag liner with hood, heavy quilted zip up sleeping bag, outer cotton cover with waterproof backing and hood. The sleeping bag comes with a three quarter length heavy duty metal zip closure that works extremely well. The buttons are all in good working condition. It also comes with waterproof covering. The integrated packing straps are well used and worn but still do a fine job of rolling the bag up compact for easy storage and transportation. It’s been machine washed so it’s in good very clean.
