This is a mountain equipment glacier 1000 down sleeping bag. This sleeping bag was a return that had a damaged zip. It has had a new zip fitted professionally at lancashire sports repair. It is a ykk double sided zip with 2 sliders, pretty much the same as would have originally been fitted. The bag is still in great condition, hardly used. It comes with a stuff sack. A fantastic, warm and extremely lightweight Down bag in lovely used condition. No holes or rips and all fasteners work fine. Extremely clean inside and out, very light signs of use, absolutely nothing to spoil the bag. Small mark near to foot of bag, please see last pic. This is a top quality bag bought for a Annapurna Base Camp trek back in 2000. Slept in by my wife for those 10 nights, and then has lived in a cupboard (in a nice big bag) ever since, awaiting the next high altitude expedition. Since we have had kids 16 years ago that is frankly never going to happen again, so I may as well face facts and sell this bag. As I say, 10 nights sleep is all this has had and it’s been stored uncompressed so all the loft is still there. Would suit someone who is going high, this is incredibly warm and for sub zero temperatures only. It’s twin brother is now doing service out in the Andes – see my previous listing. Mountain Equipment Glacier 600 Superlight Down Insulated 3-season sleeping bag. Size Men’s Regular. Max user height 185cm. Approx shoulder width 75cm. Bag weight 1128g (using my scales). In immaculately clean and undamaged condition. No marks or stains, no rips, tears or holes and no odours. Two way zipper is smooth running and hood & shoulder drawcords work fine. Down loft is excellent and there are no signs of wear or tear, minor signs of use and packing that you find with any item but nothing noticeable. The Glacier Superlight bags fall between the ultralight Helium range and the very robust Classic bags and therefore pack compact and light but will stand up to lots of use and have a wide range of use. With a light but tough water resistant Drilite Loft shell and 600g of top quality 725 fill down the Superlight 600 is a perfect choice as a’go to’ bag for the majority of the year in the uk. Please see the pics for some idea of packed size. Comes with stuffsack and mesh storage sack to keep the loft when not in use. There is also a Exped waterproof dry bag for use on the trail.
