Vintage Marmot Sleeping Bag GORETEX GORE TEX. This bag is rated either -20°F or -30°F, I no longer remember. The bag was used only few times and then stored. It was never stored compressed. It is in beautiful condition without tears, blems stains or other imperfections. It was made in USA when Marmot was still a small US based company. The external shell is made out of thin Gore-Tex Ripstop. Total weight about 2.5 lb. This is definitely cold weather bag. Zipper is on there right side and not on the wrong side. The system consists of two Mummy-style sleeping bags–the Patrol (Foliage) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey). Each are constructed of water-resistant, ripstop nylon. Each sleeping bag is fully functional independently. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag is compatible with the vapor permeable bivy cover. When all 3 components are used together the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40°F. Western Mountaineering -10 Dakota/Lynx GoreTex Sleeping Bag Pristine Condition, regular length, right zip. Size is regular (6′), loft is 9″ at chest, 8″ at knee, 9 at foot. Always stored indoors in a climate controlled environment in its storage sack; never compressed. This is the predecessor to the Lynx GTX. The cut of the bag is slightly slimmer than the Lynx. It is more heat efficient, but not the right fit for folks with more than a 44″ chest/36″ waist. Condition of the bag is pristine. I have never used it outdoors. It does not appear to have ever been used. The Dakota/Lynx was designed with winter and spring conditions in mind and will shrug off all but the deepest cold. The Gore shell adds a significant element of protection from wind, frost, condensation and spills. Here are the specs for the Lynx (size of this one is 6’0). The Dakota version is slightly lighter weight; under 3 1/2 pounds. The inside girth on this one is around 60″/52″/36. Inside Girth shdr/hip/foot (in).
