This is the Large variant of the bag, extra Long. Size 84″ x 30.5″. 31.5oz Net Weight of Fill. Literally used a couple of times and in great condition (used for an event). Complete with stuff sack. This is a great bag and quality brand alongside the likes of RAB / Mountain Equipment / North Face etc. Note: The stuff sack is for a different bag called Clouds Rest, but the bag is the Universe SL. This is true mountaineering bag, but also equally good for those going camping in the UK but want to be nice and warm! From Watton At Stone (SG14) or by prior arrangement in Canary Wharf. The Universe SL sleeping bag is part of Mountain Hardwears Quantum collection. The Quantum series means there is seasonal and temperature versatility in this mountaineering bag not found in its competitors. The Universe SL is a 600-fill down bag with a 0 degree F -18. However, by including an expandable and insulated 8-inch draft tube this bag can be just as comfortable during a glacier whiteout as it can be on a summer mountain side. The hot air comes out of the bag by unzipping the tube in warmer temperatures and with the pull of a zipper can eliminate dead air space in colder conditions. Claustrophobia doesnt stand a chance in this adaptable mummy. In addition to the possible 8 inches of elbow or layering room provided by the draft tube, the Universe SL sleeping bag also has a multi-baffled footbox. The comfort footbox has improved fit by allowing for natural foot position while the multi-baffle increases warmth. Meanwhile, the eight-baffle tailored hood keeps the most important extremity (the one that dreams of future summits) warm and comfortable throughout the night. This waterproof and breathable sleeping bag is as functional as it is durable. Up for sale is a lightly used but excellent condition Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina 32º synthetic sleeping bag! Have owned this bag for a couple of years and used a handful of times each year. Outside of those times, sleeping bag is always stored in cool dry place outside of compression sack (leaving sleeping bags in compression sacks will result in over compression over time and loss of insulation). The compression sack itself has some damages as one time when I was stuffing it I pulled too hard on the cords and ripped some of the bag. I did a very haphazard job of sewing it back, which has continued to work since, but is not a particularly aesthetically pleasing job. In other words, this compression sack will get the job done if you take care of it but you may or may not want to invest in another down the road. Measures about 88 long from bottom of sleeping bag to top of head when laid flat and zipped up fully. Measures about 78 long from bottom of sleeping bag to opening i. Where your chin would be in mummy perspective Measures about 32″ wide at widest point and about 14″ at narrowest point. In sack without any compression the bag measures about 14″ long with a diameter of 6.5″ With straps pulled down for compression I can get the bag to about 10″ long with a diameter of 6.5″ Bag in compression sack weighs 2 pounds 5 oz total. I have tried to take photographs from multiple angles, including close-ups of the compression sack to show wear tearing and sewing has occurred. Pictures speak a thousand words so please see for yourself to judge! Don’t waste time with auctions containing stock photos trying to figure out the difference between “good, ” “very good, ” and like new.
