This sleeping bag is in amazing condition! I ended up not using the bag but a few times. It is crazy warm and comfortable. Its a really great bag. I just live in texas and it never got cold enough to use it. This bag has always been stored laid flat and never stored in a bag or compressed. I have taken the best care of this bag period. Retail of the bag without the expander was well over $500. This is a fantastic deal on a great bag. Information about long 10° 775 fp down cheops dryloft sleeping bag by mountain hardwear. This expedition-caliber bag is filled with the best european goose down available (775 fill power) and surrounded by the best waterproof, breathable shell on the market: gore. Six-channel, precision fit hood with one-handed cord adjustment. V-channel side block baffle to eliminates cold spots. Down-filled draft tubes run full length of zipper, around neck at collar and around face at hood. Ground level side seams, no-snag zippers, and slant. For maximum, even loft. Available in right or left zip. Includes a bag expander that adds about 8 inches of girth to the shoulder area, works very well. The bag expander was only used once. This is a really well made mountain hardwear bag (made before columbia bought them out). It is a regular length bag with a left hand zipper. It has polarguard hv fill as well as a draft tube and collar. It’s warm (15 degrees f) but being synthetic fill, i would say it’s best suited for front country “car camping” type outings. I’d say its a bit bulky and heavy for backbacking (about 3.5-4 lbs).
I’ve owned this bag for 10-12 years during which it has seen moderate car camping use up until about 5 years ago and hasn’t been used since. It has been a good bag for me. It’s really durable, clean and comfortable. Condition: this bag is in excellent condition.
The only signs of wear are a small dark blemish on the hood and typical wear on the zipper (see pics). Take a look at the pics and write me with any questions.
