This bag is in great condition with no rips or wearing. Note one of the 5″x5″ baffles is missing down due to washing, but this does not impact warmth at all. New Thermarest RidgeRest Solite large 25X 77X. Used US Army 6 strap compression bag, fair to good condition these dont break; these are extremely strong, much stronger than the average. I once lost a bag on the trail when the Big Name manufacturers stuff sack strap broke. Fortunately, I realized it pretty quickly. Now I go with a bombproof USGI stuff sack if my bag will be externally mounted on my pack. We also throw in a new fleece balaclava, new Neoprene facemask, new disposable Mylar reflective blanket and some other goodies we like to have with us in very cold weather. New large mesh long term storage bag. Love your Down and it might just save your life! According to a study by Backpacking Light (a well respected independent magazine) 8 of Loft would mean this. I also include a new silk or silk-like how do I tell? Bag liner that adds more warmth. The way a down sleeping bag is cared for and stored can have a major impact on the loft height, and consequently, the warmth of the sleeping bag. Loft height directly correlates to temperature comfort range. Our pictures show you the actual loft height of this particular sleeping bag. WHY DONT ALL SELLERS DO THIS? Most dont even clean the bag. What do they NOT want you to know? Based upon the actual loft and the information that was in the Backpacking Light Chart, the temperature comfort range for this particular sleeping bag should be approximately -20° F. Temperature comfort range is also impacted by a number of other IMPORTANT variables. Please use care when opening the packaging so not to damage the item. If you feel you must use a knife PLEASE use a box cutter and set the length of the blade to no more than 1/8. When I have to use a knife, I cut just the tape on the ends and then squeeze my arm in to lift up the box top like a peaked roof while holding down any product.
