This USMC M-1949 sleeping bag is a genuine piece of history. The compact design makes it easy to transport, and it’s suitable for a variety of outdoor activities like hunting, camping, hiking, sleepovers, and overnighters.
Up for sale are USED old stock US Army Korean War Era Insulated Evacuation/Casualty/Sleeping Bag. They have been in storage for many years! These are rated to approx -40 to -60 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit). They are an oversized mummy style sleeping bag. These are dated early 1950s and genuine US Army Korean War era non-issued. This is a SCARCE Korean War Era US military M-1949 mountain sleeping bag feather down filled, vacuum sealed in a tin can, these were sealed in cans for the USAF as survival kits , these are getting harder to find for your collection, you can see in the pics that the can has dents, it also still has a opening key with it, even with the dents it’s highly collectible , the front says it was canned in AUG.
