Valandre Ultralight Mirage Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down Mirage, Long/Left Zip. Valandre aptly named its Ultralight Mirage 28-Degree Down Sleeping Bag because it looks a lot lighter than a bag that warms you in freezing temperatures. Weighing under two pounds, the Mirage makes a fantastic ultralight companion when you backpack through the Uinta mountains or climb for days on big walls at Denali National Park. Almost thirteen ounces of 850+ goose down plus the sleeping bag’s natural loft abilities mean you can look forward to many warm nights. Made with the same materials Valandre used in its bags that have seen the camps of K2 and Everest, the Mirage’s polyamide ripstop shell and polyester ripstop lining keep the durability up and the weight down. A static drawcord is integrated in the hood to seal out cold weather when temps get too cold for you. The Mirage compresses down a surprising amount so you can bring extra fuel or a bottle of whiskey for celebrating your ascent.
