My wife and I were given a 2-person quilt as a wedding gift shortly after I bought this so it hasn’t been used more than maybe 8-10 nights and is in great shape! At 6’7 with extremely broad shoulder I found this warm and comfortable for a shockingly low pack weight. The Western Mountaineering MegaLite 30 Degree Sleeping Bag large cut sleeping bag for bigger folks or those seeking plenty of space. Have a fear of being closed in or perhaps a wide set of shoulders? This 850+ down fill sleeping bag has a 64″ shoulder girth and 39″ foot girth. Lay back and enjoy being wrapped in soft, fluffy down on nights down to 30°F. Even the cooler nights of summer can be appreciated thanks to the draft collar and tube. When it comes to weight, the bag comes in at 1lb, 8oz and stuffs into a 7″x13″ sack, so you can definitely bring along that extra piece of gear you were questioning. No stains or rips. Smoke free and pet free home. Ordered from factory with overfill so it’s more like a 25 degree bag. Very roomy for big guys but warm and efficient as well. I want to go to a warmer bag for late fall backpacking so I must part with it for hopefully another Western Mountaineering. It is a left zip, and from memory is rated to 35 degrees. It includes the small stuff sack which is used when backpacking. It does not include the larger stuff sack when storing at home, as that has disappeared over the years. The bag spent 10 days on the trail, (no rain), so has not been wet, and since that time has been used for occasional tent camping, or to stay warm at home. No rips, tears, or damage, as the bag is pristine. The only item to note, is the stuff sack has our last name and trek number on it in silver sharpie, which you can cover as required. The inflation nozzle needs some work, as sometime it holds air and sometime it does not, and conversely sometimes it deflates, and sometimes does not. A good backpacker can likely fix as I could not. Nice, lightweight bag, which really stuffs down to a small size. Thanks for looking and good luck. Watcher emailed that Listing specifics say Highlite and Title says Extremlite.
