Marmot knows how to do down gear. This is the puffiest, warmest down bag Ive seen in quite some time. This Marmot CWM is a -40C/F long bag. It has Marmots MemBrain waterproof shell fabric. The fabric is soft to the touch, yet durable. As with most Marmot products the lining fabric is very smooth, soft and slick. Its almost begging you to get in and cuddle up inside of it, snug up the collar, close down the puffy hood around your face and nod off to dreamland, no matter the temps outside. FYI: I will be out of town for the New Year, returning on Jan 1st. Brand New, never used Marmot Col expedition sleeping bag rated to -20 F. This bag is a size Long, which fits up to a 6 foot 6 inch person. The zipper is on the left side. It has a Marmot proprietary waterproof laminate called “Membrain” to help keep the insulation from getting wet. However, to my knowledge the seams are not taped, so the bag is not totally waterproof.
