The Montbell Super Stretch Down Hugger sleeping bags are stitched with elastic stitching so they are stretchy and so so comfortable, but also conform to your body (they hug you) to minimize the air that your body has to work to heat up, so they are super duper warm. This bag is about 10 years old, but I stopped using it about 4 years ago when I switched to quilts. It’s very clean and I’m neurotic about taking care of down in terms of never storing compressed. It’s always been stored in the cotton storage bag it came in, always inside the house (not in a garage) in a very clean and dry area. When backpacking I always take it out of compression as soon as I arrive at camp, so I don’t think this thing has ever been compressed for more than 12 hours. No smells, no tears, no loose seams. It’s a regular length, right zip. It’s a super great bag, but quilts suit me better these days. Rated at 25 degrees and just weighed in at 1 lb 14 oz on my kitchen scale. I think I still have the original stuff sack somewhere, but I always carried it in an 8L drybag, so I’d have to hunt the storage sack down if you want it. Happy to do that though, just let me know!
