This is a Real Mountain Hardwear sleeping bag: made before the mergers and outsourcing in the USA???? ! The condition is excellent with little to no visible signs of wear. I have compared its 5 pound heft to contemporary models and feel that it should be rated at 0°F. The original Polarguard 3D loft has been FULLY PRESERVED by careful storage. You won’t be disappointed when it hits the fan out in the hills. Unless you pass this one by! It comes with the aftermarket storage bag depicted in the last photo not a stuff sack. Be jolly about the absence of the original stuff sack as these are the primary cause of loft lossage.
Lot of two Eastern Mountain sports goose down sleeping bags. According to the tag they are 31″ x 79″ with 22 ounces of fill material. I weighed these bags on a small scale and they weigh approximately 3 pounds each. Both bags are in very good condition but you will notice from the pictures that one sleeping bag has an iron on patch repair on the inside. The patch measures approximately 2 x 3. They are both the Estes II style but the lot numbers are different and you’ll see from the pictures that one of the bags has a solid blue front across the top whereas the other has a gray band across the front near the top. Laying in the bags, the zipper is on the right side of both bags. I believe this is considered a left hand zipper as you would use your left hand crossing over your body to unzip. Both zippers are smooth and glide nicely. They can also unzip up at the bottom of the bag, so you can let your feet out if you would like. Nylon cord material to cinch up around the top is strong and durable and pulls neatly. There is a Velcro enclosure at the top of each side as well where the zipper zips up to the top. Bags do not have any strong smells of pets or smoke. There are no storage bags for the sleeping bags l. Listing is for the two sleeping bags only. Lots of pictures taken so you can see the wonderful condition of these bags.
