Outdoor Research Alpine Bivy Used And In GREAT Shape. This keep you dry and warm with a great lightweight shelter. Ive used it for a week in the High Sierra and never got chilled or wet from rain or snow. Easily adds 10 degrees F to your sleeping system. What tent can do that? No ground cloth (poly to or Tyvek) needed due to the rugged and waterproof bathtub design. Ships in stuff sack in original 13 by 6 inch packed size. Small size in pack! Smaller footprint than a tent gives you more options on where you can make camp! No stakes provided by Outdoor Research but the required deletion ridgepole is. The spacious design makes this feel almost like a minimalist one-man tent, and the open design allows really excellent views (end extra ventilation) on nights when you dont need the rain protection.
