I bought this bag for a winter backpacking trip in the Sierras and was not disappointed. It got down around 10 degrees at night and I stayed nice and warm in long johns and a light fleece despite the fact that my sleeping pad broke and I was sleeping straight on the cold ground. I used it again when it was in the high 20s overnight and was very toasty. Besides being warm, it is also very cozy feeling and easy to cinch up around your face to stay warm without any uncomfortable chafing. This is now my go to sleeping bag when it will be in the low 30s and below. I have an old hand me down (20+ years) Marmot bag for more mild temperatures and it still works great so I know this bag will last for years to come! I recommend this product.
