Heavy duty, 100% waxed cotton canvas and is proudly made in the USA. A heavy beeswax finish has been applied and allowed time to soak through the canvas, making the bag highly durable and water repellent. Waterproofing Canvas Beeswax Finish: The built-in leather bedroll straps are removable, and long enough to accommodate storing a heavy blanket inside. These bags can be quickly cleaned with a damp rag, or a brush with soapy water if a deeper cleaning is needed. Canvas wax or beeswax can eventually be used to re-coat the canvas if desired. Heavy Duty Zippers: The rugged, compact sleeping bag has full-length heavy duty zippers that allows quick and easy entry and exit from either side of the camp bed, as well as protection from the elements. Vintage 1940s 1950s CS Brand sleeping bag. Very little signs of use and no staining inside sleeping bag. Looks to have been stored a long time and some light marks of fading. I vacuumed the cover and entirety of sleeping bag. A little dusty but that was it! Cover can be snapped on either side making the sleeping bag a right side or left side zip. I’m not exactly sure how to attach the cover and if there’s a proper way to roll the bag. After rolling it, it measured 18x18x18 but new owner can probably get a smaller/tighter roll than I did. According to tag the cover and lining are cotton and fill is Dupont Dacron polyester. No rips, tears or repairs. Zipper in excellent working condition. Exact age and region of manufacture unknown.
