Rare and hard to find, maybe IMPOSSIBLE in this condition! Seattle Tent And Awning (Puget Sound tent & Duck, now Rainier) Canvas Sleeping Bag FOREST RANGER 1930s. US Forest service specs, see last pic. Awesome snaps on this one. Zipper works, no jumping. Gets stuff around bottom corner, probably a good cleaning and a wax would clear that up. Blue chambray lining- I’ve never seen this in a sleeping bag before! Ingenuous early design elements include. Snap closures on overhanging canvas to cover zipper and keep it and you warm. Attached flap that can be propped up to act as head cover / rain shelter. Side wings that cinch when rolled to keep bag clean. No fiber content tag, sorry! Looks like it originally came in your choice down, feather, or synthetic. Not sure what this is. It’s heavy and dense. Measures 70″ x 33″ not counting rain cover/wrap. EDDIE BAUER (Seattle, USA) Vintage Expedition Premium Goose Down Mummy Sleeping Bag 7 Loft 8 lbs. Uncleaned as found in excellent overall used condition with no foul smells, rips, holes or tears. Doesn’t look as if it was ever used but the carry bag does have some dirt markings from storage over the years. An extra larger carry bag also included made of a quality waterproof nylon for storing in a loose fashion as recommended. YKK Zipper works great. Weighs 8 lbs and measures a total of 80″ in length and 72″ to the neckline. The neckline has a drawcord for cinching up the neckline very tight if need be. The bag measures about 25″ wide in the middle and narrows near the end at 15″ wide. Topside is 30 wide when layed flat. About 7 of loft when allowed to fully loft out. The larger carry bag measures when flat at 40″ x 27″ and looks to be in new-like condition. The original carry bag measures 20″ x 12″ x 12 when fully stuffed with the sleeping bag. Vintage REI Made in Seattle McKinley Expedition 0 degree Down Sleeping Bag. Remaining bag has a Red and White zipper. Bag weight 3lbs 13oz. Bags are lightly used but ready to get back out on the trail. Bag is 38″x 86″ and has 2.5 lbs!!! Of Grey Goose Down. Bag has a YKK Vislon zipper and is late 1970′s. 3/4 length zipper system saves weight and still allows you to adjust comfort as needed. Goose down is generously filled in all chambers for maximum warmth and compressibility. Light ripstop nylon shell fabric and ultralight nylon interior. Baffle spacing is wide to allow down to fully loft. Check out my other items. Some countries track First Class also. I use clean materials but they may look used as sometimes they are. If you are ordering goose down or other bulky items they may come compressed. This does not harm the gear as it is designed to compress into backpacks etc. I have the utmost respect for this clothing and equipment and I have the utmost respect for my customers who I assume plan to rely on this clothing and equipment.
