Condition is lightly used. I bought this bag about 30 – 35 years ago and have used it perhaps a dozen times. I haven’t used it in recent years. It’s been stored indoors in a large bag to help preserve the down’s loft. This is a 3-season bag, rated at 20 and above. I did use it once when the ambient temperature was around 20 – 25 and snow was on the ground, and it was warm and comfortable. However, this should not be thought of as a winter bag except in milder climates. The 700 fill-power goose down fill is warm and very lightweight. It can be compressed (stuffed) into a a small volume while hiking. When not being used, it should be stored uncompressed or very loosely stuffed so that the down will retain its lofting power. The shell is Gore-Tex, which has very good water- and wind-blocking properties. This increases the bag’s warmth and comfort. Gore-Tex is also breathable, for comfort. Vintage Marmot Mountain Works Gopher goose down sleeping bag with ripstop nylon Gore-Tex shell. Generous draft tube and 2-way non-snag zipper. Draft collar and hood are fully lined with Gore-Tex to keep condensation from your breath from getting the down damp. 8 inches of loft. Weighs 4lbs 1 oz. Roomy cut so you can wear clothing inside for extra warmth but you likely won’t need to. Good to -20F or lower so this would be an excellent choice for Denali or the Himalaya. Foot box is lined with coated nylon for reinforcement so that you can sleep with your inner boots or a water bottle to keep them from freezing. Rarely used and very clean. Always used with a liner. One small professional repair above right shoulder as shown in picture but otherwise in perfect condition. Vapor Barrier liner and original stuff sack included. Message me with questions. Warm WM bag in great shape. Looks to have about 6.5 of loft. This is a semi rectangular bag with a girth dimension of 62″ at the shoulder and a length of 72″. I’m claustrophobic and this bag has never given me a problem. Comes with a WM medium stuff sack and WM storage bag. It weighs in right at 3 lbs. That bag is rated to 15 degrees F and that sounds about right as I’ve been in this bag down to 20 degrees and it was comfortable. Marmot Mountain Works Pocket Gopher Long Down Sleeping Bag Gore-tex Shell New. This is a new and never used bag it was a backup bag. We used these on Denali; excellent bag for +20 to -20 degrees. Complete Gore-Tex shell in perfect condition. Do not believe the internet chatter as to how Gore-Tex bags trap condensation: after 30 days on Denali these bags were dry and weighed the same as before the expedition. Marmot Mountain Works bags are the best constructed bags I know of far more durable than Western Mountaineering bags! My 1980s Marmot bags are still in use; my Western Mountaineering bags all have torn baffles. This is truly a life-long bag. Marmot Pocket Gopher Long Sleeping Bag Gore-Tex Shell -5F. I love this bag. If I didnt have others Id never part with it! The collar and hood cinch down comfortably to seal in heat. The Gore-Tex shell is water resistant. This bag was not seam sealed. Thank goodness, because the sealer becomes a crusty mess over time. Marmot knew how to add a bit of pure luxury on the trail with the luscious sapphire blue lining fabric. Its amazingly soft to the touch and very comfy. Youll have a hard time leaving the comfort of this bag in the morning! Please do see the picture of the Gore-Tex patch on the back of the bag. The patch is well done and completely retains full function of the shell. This bag might be a bit of history, but it is also still fully functional and light in the pack. This Marmot Couloir Goose Down Sleeping Bag has a Gore DryLoft Shell. It is a regular length bag with a left-side zipper. This sleeping bag is used, but in great condition. The shell is pristine and looks brand-new. The lining shows no signs of wear, but there were two small tears under the draft collar (approximately 1 cm in size) that have been permanently repaired with Tenacious Tape. Please see the photos. The Gore DryLoft laminate shell is water resistant and wind proof. Gore laminate is still used by Western Mountaineering and other high-end outdoor gear manufacturers to water and wind proof their sleeping bags and jackets.
