Northface Solar Flare -20 Degree Down Sleeping Bag. Northface Summit Series -20 Down Sleeping Bag. Long length (77 inches see pictures). True alpine bag in great condition due to recent cleaning and filling. This bag was laundered and refilled with down by RainyPass in 2020. It has not been used since. It has huge loft. It has not been in a compression sack since it was refilled as I DO NOT have a compression sack. I will include a mesh sack with the bag. This bag is very warm. I had a Western Mountaineering bag as well and this one seemed warmer and was more comfortable in my opinion. I now live in a warmer climate and have little to no use for this bag, thus it continues to sit in my home office going unused. This bag has one ink stain as pictured and some peeling of the labels. Check out this beautiful Solar Flare DL from the mid 1990s. This is a negative 15 degree down, right hand long sleeping bag with a Gore Dry-loft outer shell. I believe the down fill is 700, but cannot 100% verify that. The bag is in fantastic condition! It was used for one night and has been stored for the last 20+ years. The shell has one extremely minor tear, right on a baffle stitch, caused during moving, not camping use, which is approximately 1/4 inch long. This has been repaired with a tiny dab of seam repair adhesive and is hardly noticeable. Please see the pictures. There is no stuff sack. I also do not see myself, unfortunately, ever using this bag for what it is intended, which is cold weather camping or mountaineering. At this point, I would just like to know it is going to a good home and that someone will use and enjoy it. This comes from a clean, smoke-free home.
