Montbell Ultralight Super Spiral Down Hugger Sleeping Bag #3- 30 Degree Bag. This is a great ultralight backpacking sleeping bag, especially for anyone who doesn’t like traditional mummy bags and how they can be rather tight fitting. The super spiral design stretches with your body to allow you to sleep in a variety of positions. In fact it’s so stretchy you can even sit up with your legs crossed in the sleeping bag! Also because it’s stretchy it conforms to your body to eliminate cold spots and help keep you warm. I’m a stomach and side sleeper and so this bag was perfect for me over traditional mummy bags. This sleeping bag is the long length and easily fits me in it and I’m 6’4. It only weighs 23.3oz, so it’s ultralight and packable. In fact in the images above you can see it next to a standard nalgene bottle to get an idea of the packed size.
