The ICS (Improved Combat Shelter) is the military issue one person combat tent used by the U. Army in All Terrain Digital Camouflage. The bathtub floor design and front vestibule will keep you dry and comfortable from weather while allowing room for extra gear storage. The compact tent is a great backpacking size and will fit into smaller packs for an easy on the go shelter. Measures approximately 96” long x 40.5” wide x 32.5′. New/unused some with tags, zippers work like new, pull cords complete with spikes, bag, tent, fly. Vintage Grade 1 see below for grading. Pictures are of issued tent to show item. Grade 1: Excellent to New/Unissued – Military Surplus products are US Government Issued products and are rated in excellent to new/un-issued condition. Grade 2: Good to Very Good – Products may have been issued dust or dirt may be present but they retain 100% of their original functionality. Products may contain light stains, black inside is fading a bit in bug and tent tub may have some marks. All working zippers and clips. Grade 3: Fair to Serviceable – Due to wear and use products may not be as thick as when originally issued but are still in serviceable condition. Products may have small imperfections but all snags/tears/burns/seams will be less than 1 in size.
Outer bag is wide 5 Degree Alone with 23 ozs of Down. Inner Bag is SUPER Soft with 17 Ozs (500g) of Down. Used Together they are Rated at -30. No Tears or Flaws. Great Bag, Great Deal. I use clean materials but they may look used as sometimes they are. If you are ordering goose down or other bulky items they may come compressed. Description: Made in the USA by Tennier Industries for the U. Military, the Improved Modular Sleep System (MSS) is a Modular Sleeping System used by the United States Armed Forces. The IMSS consists of 5 individual components that make up the Complete IMSS Improved Modular Sleep System. The Improved Modular Sleep System is constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from mild weather to extremely cold weather. The system consists of two Mummy-style sleeping bags–the Patrol (Foliage) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey). Each are constructed of water-resistant, ripstop nylon. Each sleeping bag is fully functional independently. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Please be aware that we are at the mercy of the U. In addition, our used items will not always have the exact same condition even within the same grade. This is because not every item has the same “deficiency”. An example would be a trigger finger mitten appearing to be brand new (or they may actually be brand new) except for staining. This staining causes the mittens to be downgraded from brand new to either like new/mint or very good/excellent/nice condition depending upon the extent of the staining. In this example the “intended use” of the trigger finger mittens is not affected by the staining which is to keep your hands nice and warm. In addition, some items may need laundering but all of the items we sell will be serviceable and any deficiencies noted in the listing will not affect the “intended use” of the item. RIPS, HOLES, STAINS, BATTERIES INCLUDED OR NOT, MISSING PARTS, OR ANYTHING ELSE. WE DO NOT PRE-WASH ANY OF OUR CLOTHING ITEMS, SO IF IT IS LISTED AS USED THAT IS WHAT IT IS.. WE WILL SHOW PICTURES OF ANY DEFECT THAT WE FIND. THIS IS THE ONLY RETURN OPTION THAT WE OFFER. YOU MUST RETURN THE ITEM WITHIN 14 DAYS OF RECEIVING IT.
USGI M81 Woodland camouflage modular sleep system (MSS) sleeping bag. 4 piece sleeping bag system with storage compression sack, woodland camouflage Gore-Tex bivy cover, lightweight “patrol” sleeping bag and heavier intermediate bag. Sleeping bag is fair/decent condition, but does show signs of wear from prior service use. Some snags/tears in the material of both bags were found during my inspection (see pictures). The zippers and button snaps on the bivy cover, green bag, and black bag are functional. Some light tarnish is present on some of the button snaps.
