MODULAR SLEEP SYSTEM – 4 PART. The MSS sleeping bags and other components are constructed to be used in conjunction with each other, or separately to complete an interoperable system known as the extreme cold weather sleeping bag. The MSS is designed to provide comfort in temperatures ranging from 50°F to -50°F when wearing various layers of extreme cold weather clothing. The Waterproof Bivy Cover is produced utilizing waterproof, moisture-vapor-permeable material with all seams heat sealed. The Compression Stuff Sack is constructed with water resistant materials with adequate volume for both bags as well as the Bivy cover. This unique sack compresses the system to one cubit foot. Our items come from all kinds of storage conditions barns, attics, basements, warehouses, surplus stores, homes with pets, smokers, etc. And can be up to 100 years old. You can see the quality with a brass zipper, offset stitching at the seams and a 3 in storm flap with snaps to seal in warmth. This bag is full size with plenty of room at 84″ long and 30″ wide. The mummy shape allows for more heat retention and the foot and head design gives you plenty of room if you need it. Made in the U.
