Extreme Cold Weather sleeping bag. Condition: new old stock or excellent. Made for the U. Military with Superior Materials and Workmanship. NOT A CHEAP INFERIOR IMITATION! Made in the USA. These sleeping bags are made of water-repellent poplin cotton. Outer shell with 80% down 20% polyester filling. They feature a 64 long zipper, offset stitching at the seams. And a 3 in storm flap with snaps over the zipper. These bags are 84 inches long, 30″ wide at the top and 14″ at the bottom and weigh 9 lbs. They were issued from the 1970′s into the early 2000′s. THIS IS A NICE ONE! Vintage US Army Extreme Cold Weather GI Mummy Sleeping Bag. Extremely rare to find vintage sleeping bag in this good condition. It is in VERY GOOD condition. No tears, rips, or holes. Very little color discoloration. Identification tag is NOT faded and easy to read. The zipper is not scratched and still “crisp”. THERE ARE MINOR STAINS AND THE LAST PHOTO SHOWS THE MOST NOTICEABLE ONE. WE DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN BUT SHOULD COME OUT NICELY. Bag has been opened to verify sleeping bag condition, after these were originally manufactured and placed in storage. These ECW -20ºF sub-zero bags are extremely thick and heavy, filled with 80% down. They are quite a bit thicker than the current issue USGI sleep system. Perfect for when you need a rugged, extreme cold mountain sleeping bag. Military issue, made in USA by Tennier / Gillette. Water and wind-resistant cotton/polyester shell. Mummy design with tapered footbox. Heavy-duty zipper with snap storm flap. 84 inches long, with a tapered design measuring 30 inches wide at the top and 14 ichesn at the bottom.
