Please read all of the description and view photos with magnification as they are part of the description. I will respond within the day. Reasonable offers are welcomed. 1960s 70s Heavy Vintage Eddie Bauer Rectangular Goose Down Sleeping Bag. Pre-owned and Gently Used, but some signs of discoloration inside at opening (top) of bag and a few light stains that I’m sure will wash out. No rips, tears, repairs or offensive odors. You will be pleasantly surprised by it’s condition after all the many decades since it’s date of manufacturing. Measures 77″×36″ with an astounding 7″ to 8″ of loft! There is 4 lbs. Of Goose Down insulation in this roomy sleeping bag and (unboxed) it weighs in at little under 12 lbs. This bag has a heavy duty, brass YKK zipper and an extra wide 4 goose down filled draft tube that runs the entire length of the zipper. This is an excellent draft stopper to keep any annoyingly cold air outside the sleeping bag and you will definitely remain warm and comfortable inside! Outer shell is made of a very rugged, water-resistant nylon material that is tough enough to throw directly on the ground when no tent is used. It’s quite able to protect this sleeping bag from soiling as well as avoiding punctures. Inside liner is made of an extremely soft cotton material that feels luxurious in comparison to other cotton or flannel linings of many other sleeping bags. The zip-on wrap/cover can double as a shelter-type “roof” (example pic #10) to tent overhead if you’re using it directly on the ground without a tent. Great for hunting trips! Another nice feature (photo #9) shows the loops sewn inside the sleeping bag all along the edge by the zipper for fastening a tie-in, removable/washable fabric liner (not included) to help keep the bag clean. Temperature range is flexible as you can unzip this sleeping bag completely and use as a huge down comforter or sleep on top with just a sheet. Good to +15°F to +29°F for comfort and +0°F to -10°F below zero for extreme limits. That’s my best guess, but I bet I’m very close. PLEASE NOTE Storage bag photos have been removed as it goes to another Eddie Bauer down sleeping bag almost exactly like this one, only a little bit different, just a different (newer) year of manufacturing. Turns out that this sleeping bag listed for sale was bought at an estate sale many years ago without a large storage bag, but just the zip-on wrap/cover. It doesn’t change the fact that this sleeping bag is in remarkable condition for it’s age and the best of my Eddie Bauer sleeping bags that I currently have. Send me your zipcode for more accurate calculations. Or it’ll belong to someone else happier than you! The item “RARE!
