CONDITION: Stored properly for 50+ years… I can detect a slight musty odor, but my husband cannot smell anything on it; needs to be aired out. Sleeping robe is in excellent condition. For sale is a vintage Woods Arctic 3 Star down sleeping robe/bag. It is 36×76 inches, for a single person. It includes bag and tie straps. Old Military-Style Down Mummy Bag. Width middle: 26.5. Width Foot: 16.5. 7 snaps for closure. I don’t really know much for sure about this mummy bag. It has been in my family for 55 years, in California. My father may have gotten it at an army surplus store, so we could use it for camping. It isn’t stained and doesn’t have a bad oder, but does have a couple of imperfections which are listed above. Liner will need ironing because, as you can see, it is very wrinkled. I don’t know if this dates to WWII or the Korean War, or even if it is American made. If anyone knows–please let me know. That’s when my confidence that this is a WWII U. Military bag came into question. It is still usable, but may need a little repair. But I would guess a collector of vintage military items would like it to enhance his or her collection.
