Sierra Designs Zissou 23 long Mummy Sleeping Bag 700 fill dri down used once. The zipper pull was lost, had to send it to their repair center for replacement. As good as new now. Regular down takes on water and is very difficult to dry; DriDown proprietary process treats each individual duck down plume with a hydrophobic finish. With the duck down now resistant to water, the insulation maintains its loft and stays dry 7 times longer than untreated down. It also performs better in high humidity than regular down and, in case it accidentally gets wet, it will dry out faster, too. Lightweight yet durable 30-denier micro-ripstop polyester shell and comfortable, moisture-wicking polyester lining warm up fast. Baffle construction keeps down from migrating, eliminating cold spots. It has been used a few times but is in excellent (almost new) condition. Never wet, never dirty, always stored loosely in a large mesh storage bag. I have slept outdoors in this bag without shelter in windy weather with temperatures below 10F, and I was VERY toasty! The original Sierra Designs stuff sack is included, as well as a large generic mesh bag for storage. Note, this is the LONG/LARGE size. This has been my go-to bag for most of my trips the past three or four years. At a guess, I’ve used it two or three dozen nights and have always aired it out thoroughly and stored it gently. It has no holes or any other significant defects, but there were some “spots” (shown in the picture with my hand) that were there when the bag was new. The spots appear to be places where the shell material is fused somehow but they have no functional impact at all. Sale includes the net storage sack and the original stuff sack. [Update on the "spots"] Responding to a message about the spots, I just took a close look in bright light… And they aren’t “spots” at all. I’ve added a close-up picture showing that they’re all various sizes of the same circular-shaped artsy design.
